Slow Moving Mondays

Today is a day for laundry, movies, and baking cookies. I watched the Notebook this morning while folding clothes and cried. I mean really cried! I felt like a sissy actually, but it made me feel better afterward. It made me think about a lot of things. . . .And miss a lot of things. That wasn't the whole point of my day tho. Right now I'm watching Mad t.v. Its awesome and makes me laugh. The snow is melting outside. It's been sunny for the last two days. Swim lessons don't start for another week so I'm going to use that time to look for another job. Okie I'll write more later.

I'm Mmmeeellting. . .

The snow here is finally melting along with Eddy. He's starting to grow old and shrink. ha ha ha. So we tryed to end it a litle sooner for him so he didnt have to burn in the sun. (aka paintball) He looks rather pathetic now and a lot more colorful! I like him better this way actually. Cute. He got a baseball up his a** too, curtisy of yours truly. he he he I like being destructive.

Cause its friday night, and I'm feelin' right, oh yes its friday night, oh what a night!

Friday nights are supposed to be like the start of the weekend. The layed back do whatever you want party night right? Then theres nothing wrong with the fact that I layed in bed most of the day, went shopping and ate a big steak for dinner! lol The kids made a big plate of cookies too. They were good. They yelled at me for eating them. he he he. . . I am the real cookie monster and i will stand up! C'mon you can really resist sugar cookies? I knew you wouldnt agree.

Besides that I got a new cd by Yael Naim. She is Jewish and Tanisian. Her style is truely beautiful and unique. Only half the cd is in english but it is great music. I'm glad I got it.

A Funny story from dinner: During our grand Family dinner of steaks, baked potatoes and ceasar salad the kids took over the table and kitchen floor since we are only down to three chairs. The rest of us were in the living room. Just minding our own conversation all of a sudden jayden picks up his steak and the rest of them are giggling as he mimics the scene in Napolian Dynamite when uncle rico picks up his own steak and tells kip to watch as he throws it at napolian on his bike. Jayden pretends to throw it as mom yells at him to put it down. Then he sits and mumbles to himself. "ya a betcha I could throw it over those mountains over there." I couldnt help myself that the three of them were over there talking about that. So busted out laughing knowing well they could have only gotten this way over time from me. They make my life better.

No mans Land

I, the dummy that I am, Completely forgot that yesterday was christmas. So I didn't get to go to the gym. Or do much of anything for that matter. Driving down the street was a like a dream. Hardly anyone was out, almost all the stores were closed, and the roads were full of slush, snow, and ice. We decided as a family to go out to the movies and see that new movie 'Marley and Me'. For those who haven't yet seen the movie, it is based upon a real story that was turned into a book, which is now the movie. A very charming tear-jerker I recommend seeing it because it's the kind of movie almost everyone can personally relate to in some way. After That it was about sevenish and since we were up north some everything had already started to freeze. The door to the sub was even hard to get open when we pilled in already shivering from a 2 minute rush from the building. lol. I must say I was a little worried for our drive home. Everything was super foggy to where you could hardly see the lines on the street let alone the car in front of you. And every few minutes you could tell we'd skid over an ice patch. With the rest of those Wacko's out there too I could hardly contain my backseat bashing of idiot drivers. lol. Finally after taking the long way we made it to the neighborhood entrance only to find about three different circles of cars stuck or rammed into eachother. So with a deep breath, extra tightening of seatbelts, and clenching of rails we stuck it in drive and fishtailed all the way through them and part of the field bumpin through a frozen two feet of snow. It was actually pretty fun. All the other sore eyed lame-os just stared as we went by casually. he he he.

Hump Day

I still don't get why people call wednesday hump day. I mean I do understand because it's the middle of the week. But it's stupid. ya! ha ha ha. Nothing out of the ordinary happened to me today tho. I got a butt load of cd's a couple weeks ago from the library so I just decided to finally put them on my computer so I can return them and let other people enjoy them. I'm such a hog. I know....Actually just between you and I, (he he) once I never returned a book and stole it. I still have it to this very day too. That was so long ago. I was probably ten and thought that the police might come looking for it. lol. I love the library its one of my absolute favorite places. So that was my day. I also did some studying since our meetings have been cancelled for two weeks. And then did a mini work out. But tomorrow I have to go to the gym! I MUST! not only to swim and lift but to take care of buissness stuff. So till next time!! -Toodles.

Some people. . .

It cracks me up what some people will believe. For instance, I got a cut on my arm the other day and when I sent a pic to some friends I gave them all different stories. They had entertaining reactions. Heres an example of a few things I said: "Oh ya, I was trying to juggle knives while cooking breakfast again". "Sometimes I cut myself when I'm sleeping, It all depends on the dream". lol "I went for walk and an icicle fell down and sliced me." I came up with things like that and some people actually thought I was for real. Man I should be a comedian or better yet I would love to be part of the show Jackass. Here's the real cut.

I know...not really a big deal, It was just funny tho. I really got it from wrestling with the dog.

You remember as a kid when people said there was a monster in the toilet? Well maybe people never told you that but I told my brother that and he was terrified for years. (yes i know its terrible) lol. Well guess what? It's baaack! mwuua ha ha ha. . . . And it's after u next time. ;p

Finally an ADVENTURE!!!

I realize that I write in two day incriments and I'm ok with that. So Sunday I didn't do much since there was no meeting. I did research on music most of the day then took a nap becuase I could tell my health was getting worse. Then Monday. . . i was right. Some people don't have this ability but I do, to stay in bed all day! Yes of course making exceptions for the occasional bathroom and snack break. But I can say i didnt do anything all day. Just let it pass by. It was very interesting. I talked to a few friends throughout the day but at about nine or ten an old friend from like two years ago called me. It was sooo spontanious and awesome. His name is Spencer Pennington. I will dedicate an entire post later to you spence I promise. But for now I was just overjoyed that we have contact again. As soon as this storm is over he is coming to see me or vice versa. That was the content of the last two days. Not much. But it got my creativity built up.

Today tuesday. We again havn't had meeting! Its getting rediculous we've missed a weeks worth. Its driving me nuts. And interfering with my service time. lol Anyways, Today I got up ate breakfast, Oh thats it, ya, yesterday I made a big breakfast for everyone. It was great I even grated my own potatoes for hashbrowns. :D I was so proud. lol back to today. I got up, ate, yes then I did the dishes and when i was done told every one i was going to work and to leave me alone. Not under any circumstances were they to bother me. So I went in my room, turned on my music and lit some insence and what do you know only five minutes later my mother has to put some socks on my bed. *rolls eyes* I swear this woman.... Anywhosle of course she kept trying to make excuses to come in and take a peek at whatever I was working on. Now this kind of things pisses me off to the tenth degree. Its no wonder I hardly got anything done. I mean I made a few good ones today but I wanted something great! Maybe next time. Later when I was done I went to eat dinner and afterward did more dishes.

Once finished mom wanted to go for a walk. A WALK. hmm oh sure with two feet of snow at eight at night. I'm thinking there is nooo way. But you know how it is. So because I don't have snow gear like everyone else I just casually put on two pairs of pajama pants and then an orange knit skirt lol dont ask. And a sweatshirt and puffy jacket. Also my furry hat. (from previous pics) Get my hiking boots on and take the dog. Yes I looked like a crazy person. I was acting like one too. You never know what will happen when you leave my mom and I together. We are dangerous. Like walking down the icy road in the dark all the way to town. Not the brightest idea. But we survived. It was pretty hilarious tho. Everytime a car would come she would try to make us walk in the snow. Which was almost three feet piled up on the side from the road. By the time we got to town I thought my feet were going to have to be amputated from frostbite. lol I wasnt even cold. I was sweating hot because of hiking thru all that crap! We made it all the way to Haggens and I stayed outside with the dog while mom went in and got some tea. I put my puffy jacket on the floor of the entrance to the place and sat down with the dog. We all prolly looked like homeless people, well me for that instance. People looked at us like we were too. It was funny. I love watching peoples reactions. I couldnt have looked that terrible cause a lot of guys kept checking me out when they walked in or out. One even offered me a ride somewhere but I explained I already had one because in reality we had called chris and so he was on his way to get us. Poor guy fell down the stairs too when leaving home. So when he got to us he blamed it on us the whole way home for going out and doing something pointless.
I like doing stuff like that. :) It definetly was an adventure. I wonder what I'll do tomorrow?

Mak-alak!

J called me that tonight. It pretty much made my mood! Ha ha ha :D Today wasn't much of an adventure either but in a way it was. Such as. . . I made my goal of sleeping in till 10am. I haven't done that in months. And if any of you know me you'll understand that I am NOT a morning person! So yep after finally waking up I did house cleaning for a long time. I was happy to completely clean my mattress. I mean C-L-E-A-N, clean. I ripped the sheets off threw them in the wash and pillow. Then I vacuumed the mattress and the boxspring. Then put borax on both and later vacuumed it again. By then the sheets were done and the pillow. I feel good to know that tonight I WON"T be sleeping in dirt and bacteria that has micro-organisms that eat your flesh when your all snuged up in bed. So anyways, then I looked online at some bigger gauges to buy. My buddy josh otherwise known as DoofusPootyFanny texted me and was bugging me to come over because he still needs to give me my present from disney land. lol He is such a weirdo its great. But anyways after that was done I did more house cleaning. Later called up one some family. But I'm saving their introduction for later. Right now I'm watching Back to the Future. I pinky promise I will write and post pics tomorrow! Tonight we are supposedly having another snow storm. I'm still in disbelief.

Angel on 45th Drive...

Yesterday was supposed to be an Adventure and was anything but that! My stupid health kept me contained inside all day. It was pretty boring. . . . I slept a lot but did get around to sketching some people. Maybe just Maybe I'll post pictures of them someday.

Good Vibes

It really felt like a good day I chilled a lot. Actually this morning I went outside to take the recycling out becuase thats important to me lol but the funny part was that i was in my robe and fuzzy boots, hair out of control. The neighbors gave me funny looks since it was like fifteen degrees but i don't care. I think I will have an Adventure tomorrow. Yep. I decided just now. I will sieze the day!!!. . . tomorrow :P Now I'm going to eat some chocolate chip cookies.

Killing Sunlight~

I haven't written in two days, terribly sorry. Things have just been very Exciting! We have like a foot of snow which yes I said I didn't believe in. Lol But we did. Its been crazy. I mean like non-stop snow. Last night our power went out it was such a big drama. The lights went out and there was a big flash of green outside like you couldnt see anything. It was weird. Chris jumped up and was like what in the hell is going on running back and forth to the windows. I was crakin up. The Kids in turn were freakin out. They camped out in the living room the whole time. After a couple hours it came back on of course. During our blackout I went outside with a drink and walked around. It was fun. Te He. . . Also yesterday we made a giant snow man!!! His name is Eddy.
Meeting was obviously cancelled tonight. But something very interesting happened on wednesday some elders came over and asked us if we could switch halls. It's nothing personal just that they are really trying to put the people in the right hall like us we are really in smokey point territory. The Arlington Hall is just getting too big for a few elders. So they are splitting us. At first we didnt like the idea but now I'm ok with it. I mean there are positives such as less distractions, not as many prejudices, new friends, closer to good examples. And Theres going to be a new spanish cong. I am really excited for that! I'm goin to try to persuade them to have a language class. This is all just Jehovahs direction I know.

Tonight I am watching the movie Beautition and the Beast. But all day I'v been craving Weezer. So I listened to all their albums online. Isn't it just the best rocking out and belting "say it aint so"? I mean you haven't lived until you throw yourself into their music. Even tho I prolly looked and sounded like a crazy person I felt amazing afterward. lol Nothin else is really new. I will take more pics tomorrow. Its supposed to snow for the rest of the week and next week. Lets see! lol

Also I want to give a written shout out to my totally awesome friend Jordan that almost died tonight but he couldn't cause I told him not to. lol He is going to go snowboarding tomorrow. Lucky, I havent been able to break my board out yet. Maybe I will try tomorrow too. J and I are pretty tight we are colaborators in music. And share similar intrests like being dorks. I <3 him.

Today

It was very boring. Got up, did some earrands and then went shopping with lacey. After went home and stripped all freezing clothes and jumped into bed. Later ate lunch called knickerBocker then got ready for meeting. It was fun. Tonight its supposed to snow like almost a foot in some areas. This has been very hard for me to believe from growning up in the city and never having more than four inches in my life. We had sunshine all day which was nice. I guess I will have to wait and see in the morning. Thats it for tonight. I think. yep. -Mak

OH ya i almost forgot. I think I'm gonna go up a few sizes still in my guages. I'll keep ya posted.

Today I was givin a mission: To destroy this chair since it was already broken. You can't tell. But if you sat on it? Yikes. So I carried it out side to the driveway and gave it a Mak-Attack! lol As some of you put it. This is the BEFORE and the AFTER: lol It was fun. Gave me something to do. The small pile was the nails and bolts. the big pile was just plain old wood to be recycled. :)

Tonight is too cold. For some reason my room out of all others wont get warm!!! Its ridiculous.....grrr.

I absolutly hate it when my toesies get cold. I can smell the brownies in the kitchen. They'r calling me I hear it. lol Noooo i will resist! Won't, give, in, to, the,chocolaty goodness. Mwuaaa ha ha ha Brownies!!! I have been compromised. Anywho, How was your day? Mine was lazy. Have you seen the new K.M's tho? They look great! I'm excited for the new year I think it will be action packed.

I made that necklace yesterday at the Art museum. They have a work shop for the public. Sweetness huh? I need to start working on my art too by the way. I have one piece in my closet but its time to brake out the paints and sketches again. Specially since I'm indoors more now. I hear it might now off and on all week. Well we will see. I have no idea how lessons are gonna work this week with the roads i'm sure the old women won't want to drive. lol I'm so nice.

Their is someone i have yet to introduce. . . his name is Mr.Knickerbocker. He is my 1# go to guy. Seriously he is so smart it scares me. This is my ultimate secret weapon. Like learning from a ninja, I learn from the Knickerbocker. He teaches me well. Or just gives me the answers. ;p And I thank him tremendously. So now you need to know him becuase I'm sure I'll mention him more often.

Yesterday I bought this awesome Calligraphy pen. Black ink and a 2.0 tip. If you'v ever heard the expression "my pen is my sword" they weren't wrong this thing gives me power from beyond. Its beautiful. And i really shouldn't be so excited about something like this but if you know me u understand. I have it with me all the time so if you see me i like writing peoples names for them its fun. By the way my hair isn't all that bad now is it!? One other last thing. Jayden bought a dirt bike. Well its sorta a hand me down from the brothers in our hall but for him its a major achievement that i back 100%. He is pretty cool for 11 years.So heres the pic. We are excited for this spring when he can try it out on the tracks around here. Now he says he has something to do that i can't because i like to go paint balling and he can't do that but now he's the only one that can go dirt biking. I let him have his glory. Foot ball and straight A's is hard for a kid like him but he did it. I am proud.

Snow Day!!!

Last night was very emotional for my family, we had issues that we needed to take care of. And after a couple hours of talking got it figured out. Then we watched a few movies, one of my personal favs. The Dark Night. The other movie Hancock was sorta dumb even tho i felt like i could relate to the outline of the story. The whole day it had been snowing even tho we were gone. So by midnight we had about four inches! YAY for us lol. Yes it's pathetic but exciting for here. I went out at two am in my jammies and scrapped off the car for fun. It wasnt cold. One thing I like a bout the snow is that it creates some sort of silence. If you really try you might hear it. Today I stayed inside a lot but did go on a walk with Chelsea and the Dog sadie. It was nice. We walked to the forest where the snow was falling off the tree's and hit us on the head. Chelsea was getting mad cause it was messing up her hair so she looked up and then another bunch dropped on her face. I laughed.... Then she threw a snow ball at me. Saturday Dec.13,08 (aka yesterday)

So we decided to randomly drive down to tacoma and go to the art museum. It was awesome.I wanted to go to the history museum too but we'r gonna save that for another trip. There is two different art musuems the regular one and the glass one which has a lot of Dale Chihuly's art. I love him he is amazing. The gentleman that my mother and I house clean for actually is friends with him so he told us he might be able to arrange a meeting. I am so excited that would be undescribably cool. Here are a few pics from the trip. What really sucked was we just got there and my camera went dead. I was bummed but it didnt really matter to me. Some of the few collections that were there dated back to the early 17-1800's. I could see the paint flaking. Each time I moved on to another one it blew my mind being able to read about the artist and the painting. That kind of experience is something I live for. (But Jehovah is first of course)

After the Museum we walked around te park that is connected, including the bridge of glass. Keep in mind this is not a real bridge made of glass. lol I wish so much to take some of you there. Later we drove over to the train sation and ate dinner where all the food places are inside. Some of you may have been to the train station before. It is next to the dome. It's a big long green building, with lots of shops. I found a pin that I really really wanted. It was ten bucks that I didn't have obviously. But it was so cute a little bycicle made out of steel wire. I would have worn it on my scarves. lol maybe I will go back and get it. After a few hours we decided to go home but before that we tried to find my name in the cement from when I was a little girl visiting my dad on the weekends. Unfortunaly we had no luck.

Most everyone knows this by now but if you don't, I am a frequent Office watcher. Faithful devotee to Dunder Mifflin. And to my friends that just watched the last episode I would so NOT be like meridith if i was drunk! I don't find that funny. lol

(if you kno what i mean) you gotta give a listen, they make me happy i think they would do the same for you.

Tomorrow I have no idea what i am doing but i'm sure it will be an adventure. I feel good about today tho. Seems like I may have gained a little more insight into what i am going to do next in my life. Support and motivation as well.

On Heavy Lifting my time at the gym has been spent well. mmm hmmm I go with a lot of buddies that lift weights and have a ndew friend from Darrington that does real heavy lifting in competitions. He is cool we hang out sometimes he works at a vitamin store and for our circuit assembly he had an allergic reaction and his hands turned purple it was hillarious because the girl he liked has teasing him about it. Anywhosle i am almost to my miny goals. On the flat bench press i made it to 100. (im working my way back up) On inverted 70. Lat pull downs and back im at 100. shoulders only 50. Leg press 260. So not amazing for now but I am slowly getting there. My mother thinks I'm going to bulk up and become this huge fat monster. But I been doubling on cardio as well. So I am seeing results fast. And I think I look fine. I like being strong I got guys to help me out when I'm there with spotting and such. It feels good to excersize. It also makes my butt really firm and perky. lol the other day my brother was walking up the stairs behind me and he rwammed me in the butt with his head and was like ow your butts not jiggly anynmore and then starts hitting it. lol I told him i would take that as a compliment.

I decided to paint my toenails black They look really cute. I need to take some new pics really bad. This morning was not my morning i got to the hall and had spilled coffee all over myself. then later found out my water bottle was open in my purse so everything got soaked. Luckily my camera was not fried i was so scared. I have a friend that had the same one and i hear they actually can break! I thought those camera's were bricks, I guess not. So close call.

By the way my cat watches t.v. and my dog talks. my life is weird. Still no snow.

Blue Sky's on a Rainy Day

Ok i will try not to make this one as long as before. I know some of you peoples can't take reading that much. But must say I do like to write a lot.
(Or is it rambling)
So like I said this week was our C.O. visit and it was fabulous! Today I went out in service even though It took A LOT for me to get out of bed. My health has not been good for the last two months. Like Mo always says, "Mind Over Mattress" a phrase I have adopted. It was so cold today, my goodness! I usually don't get affected by the cold but like I said my health hasn't been so great. i wore my big wool coat but what I really needed was a HuG! ;)
We are hoping for snow this weekend even tho you know over here we dont get anything but slush. So maybe that will overjoy the youngins. All day it's been super windy sometimes it sounds like the house is gonna just rip off the ground like in The Wizard of Oz. *snickers*
Anyways service was prolly the best it's been in a long time! Not saying I don't enjoy going out I do very much so. But today was exciting because this morning I got to do letter writing with a small group including mo and lori. After that got a snack and did return visits or n.a.h.'s Everytime someone was home I tryed super hard to contain my shivering. There was a couple houses with big dogs that I wanted to do but they wouldnt let me. lol Lori and i started a study with one lady tho. After we went back to the hall where a lot of brothers and sisters showed up for lunch and association. Then after we all gathered in a big circle and sang kingdom songs while Mo, Bryce, and marc played guitar. It was so fun because i really got to sing.

Now I am home sitting in my big green chair next to the fire place. Feels good on my feet. If you kno me you kno that i hate wearing socks! Actually I had to go take some friends of mine some dinner last night becuase they are a young couple that just had their second baby. And i went Barefoot. They thought i was nuts. Oh well. . . What's really weird is that my hands never really get cold. Well except when I'm driving! I hate it! Does that ever happen to you? I have to keep gloves in there or put the vent facing toward them. Ooooo did I announce yet that we finally got a cordless phone!!!! Yay i love it. (so ghetto)
But i really do have to say I miss that old napolian sized cord. he he he
The cool thing about this phone that everyone is fascinated with the fact that it has a couple different ringers on it but it has one that is identical to the Jarassic Park cellphone. It's aweosome every time it rings you feel like there's a dinosaur around the corner. lol I think you could say i didnt keep my word i wrote too much again. I'm gonna finish this one but I still have more to say so I think I will write another later.

Is it normal for me to be particular about what cup I shall drink out of? Seriously almost all the cups in the cupbard are smelly plastic due to the kids. i just want a nice clean brand new tall glass one. And so thats what i did. Bought my own! (we will see how long it lasts)

Today i felt really Lost.
Perhaps thats why i was looking for answers in the wrong places, whos saying theyre wrong maybe just usual. But life is running short in this system, I feel it. If it does come in my life time i hope someone would run to my side and not let go till we get to the other side. Just a random thought.
I have a butt load of pictures I have taken recently from the various walks I've gone on for the bare sanity of my mind. I find myself sitting and staring. You may think there is nothing wrong with that but the fact that I dont know why or what i am staring at scares me. Someone told me i think too much the other day. (how dare them)

Maybe thats why I decided to live in my friend lacey's bed for four days last week and cutt my hair the shortest it's ever been and give it red highlights? i duno, don't ask me.

I like it for now. Long hair has always been my thing so i can garuntee it wont stay like this.
Are you kidding me? I miss the morning light, lounging in bed. Hair spread all over the pillow and my face. i needed something to get me through a change lately and what better way for a women then to cutt all her hair off?

I will have finished Highschool by january. And I will be starting College before this summer.
Working part time as an Aquatics Instructor and Lifeguard. I enjoy being constantly surrounded by little kids. I think it's Jah's way of taking care of my needs becuase he knows I want them. But not in this system. Becuase of this winter and the economy, pay is slowing dramatically, meaning I need a second job pronto! I got bills too ya know. I will keep you posted on that one.

It seems like everyone is suffering. People in my cong. are going throught a lot. It makes me sad. But that is why I am so glad this week was our C.O. visit.
Mo is such a warm guy. He makes me laugh. The other day he was telling me that sunday they are gonna bring lunches and by that he meant pioneer steak-aka-pbj's. lol goodtimes!

Oh man there is so much more going on. And I have discovered a lot of amazing music too.
It wouldnt be fair to tell all my mysteries in one story tho huh?

p.s. I may be going to help out where the need is greater next year. I am making it a goal even if that means not getting a car first. The group would be going back to El Salvador or Hunduras. So I been getting back to practicing my spanish.
